Each year, 30 CAUSINDY delegates take part in a four day program, including panel discussions, social activities and networking events. CAUSINDY alumni are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, from senior public servants to prominent academics.
In 2016, CAUSINDY heads to Bali — a meeting point for two countries, and the centre of Indonesia’s soft diplomacy. In line with this year’s theme, delegates will be challenged with building a stronger, more sustainable Australia-Indonesia relationship.
I was [able to] to connect myself with a network other young leaders passionate about the Australia-Indonesia relationship.
CAUSINDY is a great opportunity to meet and get to know professionally and personally the future thought leaders and change makers of the bilateral relationship.
CAUSINDY is such a great forum where young Australian and Indonesian meet, discuss and act to develop a better people to people relationship between the two neighbouring countries.
CAUSINDY is a rare opportunity for youth interested in the relationship between Indonesia and Australia – I can’t think of any other platform that brings together a group of people with so much knowledge, energy and enthusiasm!
CAUSINDY allows us to build bridges between the two countries so that cooperation could happen and even more amazing things can take place.
CAUSINDY reminded me that every young Australian with an interest in Indonesia and improving Australia’s regional relations has an important role to play in shaping new ideas and approaches to the Australia-Indonesia relationship and Australian foreign policy towards Indonesia.
