CAUSINDY is delighted to welcome back the Australian Consortium for In-Country Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) as a partner of the conference. ACICIS is a non-profit national education consortium charged with developing and co-ordinating high quality, semester-long and short course study programs for Australian students at Indonesian partner universities. Since its foundation in 1994, ACICIS has sent over 2,000 participants to universities around Indonesia, prior to which almost no Australian students had undertaken semester long study in Indonesia for credit at their own institution in Australia. A number of ACICIS alumni have gone on to become CAUSINDY delegates, and we look forward to working together again in 2016 to further bilateral engagement.
